Molded Panel Interior Doors (American Panel Style)

Eurasia Door manufactures premium molded panel interior doors — known internationally as molded composite doors or moulded panel doors, and widely referred to as American panel doors in Turkey and the Middle East. These doors deliver the classic look of traditional joinery with the dimensional stability and consistency of modern engineered manufacturing.

Each door leaf is pressed from high-density wood fiber under intense heat and pressure, producing a seamless surface with crisp panel definition that resists shrinking, swelling, cracking, and joint separation.

Why Choose Eurasia Door Molded Panel Doors

Molded 6-panel and 4-panel doors are the standard choice for apartment complexes, villas, and housing developments where classic American or traditional design language is required. Cost-effective, consistent, and available in volume.

Hospitality & Hotels

Solid-core molded panel doors with EI30 fire-rated cores meet hotel safety codes while maintaining the warm, residential appearance preferred for 3-4 star guest rooms. Pre-painted finishes ensure color consistency across hundreds of units.

Office & Commercial

2-panel and flat-panel molded doors offer durability and a clean appearance for office partitions, meeting rooms, and commercial back-of-house applications.

FAQ: Molded Panel Interior Doors

What is the difference between American panel doors and molded panel doors?

They are the same product category. “American panel” is a regional term used in Turkey and the Middle East, derived from the design’s American architectural origins. “Molded panel” or “moulded composite” is the official industry terminology used in the USA, Canada, UK, and most global markets. All Eurasia Door panel doors are manufactured to international molded composite door standards.

Are molded panel doors real wood?

The face panels are made from engineered wood fiber (MDF or HDF) — a composite of natural wood fibers bonded under heat and pressure. While not solid timber, the material is wood-based, dimensionally stable, and accepts paint, lacquer, or veneer finishes beautifully. Solid core options use particleboard or mineral cores for enhanced sound and fire performance.

Can molded panel doors be used in humid environments?

Standard molded panel doors handle normal indoor humidity well. For bathrooms, coastal climates, or high-humidity areas, we recommend specifying MR (moisture-resistant) cores and sealed edge banding. Alternatively, our PVC coated door range is purpose-built for wet environments.

Are fire-rated panel doors available?

Yes. We supply EI30 fire-rated molded panel doors with hidden intumescent seals integrated into the frame and door edges. The fire performance is invisible from the design side — the door looks identical to a non-fire-rated 6-panel or 4-panel door, making it perfect for hotel corridors and residential entry doors where safety regulations must coexist with traditional design.

What is the lead time for a molded panel door order?

Primed (ready-to-paint) molded panel doors typically ship within 30 days. Pre-painted and custom RAL color matched orders require 40–50 days depending on color and quantity. Fire-rated and melamine-faced versions follow standard 35-45 day lead times.

Can you supply molded panel doors with custom dimensions?

Yes. Standard sizes are produced in volume, but custom widths, heights, and panel configurations are available for project orders from 50+ pieces. AutoCAD shop drawings are provided before production to confirm all dimensions, hardware locations, and hardware preparations.
